Enabled Care

Advances in technology have created a wealth of opportunities in the care sector. It’s not just about efficiency, tracking visits, and keeping loved ones updated about someone’s wellbeing, proactive monitoring can also help to keep people safe without intruding into their private life.

faster response in an emergency.

Technology automatically tracks more information than we could ever capture in person, so we already have an idea of how a person is doing and can spend visits actively caring for and chatting to your loved one. This empowers us to give more personalised care, without missing any signs that could indicate someone’s condition is deteriorating or that they may need more help.

how it works image v2

How it works

Our amazing Tec2Care device is a small sensor that we install in the kitchen. Your loved one isn’t being watched or listened to and no data is being captured without their consent. It’s not the kind of equipment used to film fly on the wall documentaries, instead, think of the technology that controls your thermostat or recommends films you might like on a streaming platform.
learning habits image

Learning your loved one’s habits

The device learns your loved one’s typical routine, such as how often they put the kettle on, what time they cook meals, and when they wash up, building up a picture of their behaviour.
It takes just 48 hours to learn your loved one’s habits, and gets smarter over time. If it detects anything unusual that doesn’t fit their usual routine, it will alert a Wellbeing Assistant or family member.
24 7 Monitoring v4

24/7 monitoring

Our highly trained team of Wellbeing Assistants are on standby around the clock, 365 days a year. That means we’ll always be available to respond and offer help when it’s needed.
The way we respond to an alert is set out in your loved one’s individual support plan. We can contact a family member or friend, call them directly, or contact the emergency services. If you need us to visit in person, we have a package that includes physical responses to alerts. Just let us know what works best for you, and remember you can update the support plan at any time.

Flexible support

Our Technology Lead is responsible for installing Tec2Care devices in Rushcliffe and the surrounding areas. If you live further away we can provide step by step instructions over a video call to help you install and set up the device yourself.

Tec2Care can be used as a standalone 24/7 monitoring solution for peace of mind, or in conjunction with check-in calls and social care support depending on you and your family’s care needs.
