Our holistic approach to providing care

We pride ourselves on our holistic approach to care that combines traditional aspects of homecare with assistive technology. We offer a truly person-centred focus on all aspects of a person’s wellbeing. Support from our wonderful Wellbeing Assistants aims to help you feel empowered at home and retain your independence for as long as possible. By combining virtual and face-to-face support, we offer a responsive plan of support that promotes connection and flexibility.

The right care for you

Everyone is unique with their own needs, desires, preferences and values. It’s important to look for a care provider that understands there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to care and can offer you the care you need to thrive.

We provide a variety of subscription packages to suit your needs, whatever they may be. Each package includes a certain number of wellbeing calls per week, in-person support hours per month and the use of Technology Enabled Care. You remain in complete control of when our Wellbeing Assistants visit each week and as your needs evolve, our flexible services can be adjusted accordingly.

We take the time to understand your hobbies, values, medical needs, interests and more. Why? Because we believe in the power of connection and companionship – and how these factors impact emotional wellbeing.

Finding a care provider

When finding a care provider, there are practical things to consider. You want to find a care provider that services the area you live in. It’s essential that you review the types of care provided and whether they can support your medical needs while nurturing your mental health. The culture of the provider is also important. After all, you want to know that their employees are being taken care of, feel supported and are inspired to provide the best care possible.

To get an idea of what a provider is like and whether they are a good match for you, we recommend having a look at the team, viewing any of their social media platforms and, of course, reading reviews and testimonials.

The importance of an initial assessment

When looking for a care provider, an initial assessment will be arranged so that the care provider can better understand your care needs and how they can best support you. During an initial assessment, you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions. As you learn more about each other, you’ll get a good sense of whether you feel listened to, valued and respected. This is an excellent opportunity for you to decide whether the fit is right or not.
